I am John. A husband, father, firefighter, software developer, lover of the outdoors. I have so many interests that I have a hard time keeping track of them and forget about them until they grab my attention again.

I like to camp, fish, hike, and spend time with my family outdoors. We travel whenever we can. When I’m home, I volunteer with my local fire department. I work as a part time EMT. I also have a ton of hobbies. I am learning to reload my own ammunition. I like fly fishing, and have purchased the equipment to start tying my own flies. I have several beehives, which sometimes even have bees!

This domain was registered a long time ago. It has been dormant, other than email use. I finally decided to create some sort of loose knit blog. I plan to write short articles about my many varied interests. This will not be a source of truth – only my experiences. There are no guaranties on how many posts, or how often they will appear. I have no idea if I will even maintain the site regularly. But here it is. I hope you find something interesting!
